Material intelligence

We treat nature as our structural reference system.

By learning from and reconfiguring natural protein hierarchies, we engineer performance from the molecular level with nontoxic chemistry.

We never use plastics, rubber or animal inputs.

Going with the grain

Partnering with brewers and distillers gives us quality proteins at a global scale. Our materials connect the dots between industries in unique ways, unearthing new value in existing systems.

Abundant spent grain is our unfair advantage.

Designed for real life

Plastic-free materials must deliver on workability and aesthetic range, all while integrating seamlessly into existing production processes.

We combine materials science with deep design and manufacturing expertise to create materials that perform in real products, at real volumes.

We bring our materials to life through collaborations across fashion, beverages, beauty, automotive and more.
